This is my first entry, wahoo!
I’d like to start this blog on an honest note... this may fail.
The reason I’m saying this is because I have tried and failed to keep an interesting, active blog in the past. I romanticise about the idea of having a blog, but then I find I don’t have any juicy content to share! It’s not that I’m a boring person, I just find myself constantly busy with projects that prevent me from focusing on an interest and having the guts to talk about it and share it openly online.
Perhaps also, I get overwhelmed and shy away. I’m also not a writer; I do my best but I’m more of artist than a writer. I like to be creative.
I also probably am guilty of over-sharing too much... which is bad as then I get embarrassed and feel ashamed of myself.
I like the idea of having my cake and eat it; I want to remain anonymous while dipping my toe into creating thoughts and sharing them on here.
Anyway, enough of all that. It’s not the best introduction, but I’m delighted you’re still here reading, so let’s get to the content.
My main aim and goal is to share my Tarot journey on this blog. It’ll include Tarot and Oracle cards from my collection. News from the Tarot world, like new decks, books, projects...basically anything Tarot related.
I may do reviews or discuss tarot readings and spreads.
I’m still learning the cards but I feel comfortable enough to start sharing my thoughts on the meanings, symbolism etc. I like to see how different artists manage to do this with their art and with the cards.
I’ve created an Instagram account to go along with this blog. But to be honest, it’ll probably see more action as it’s much easier to take photos of cards than to write about them. Well it is for me anyway!
Generally speaking, this is pretty much all for my own entertainment and a way to document my continued journey with the cards.
